WE ARE AIA has partnered with the Human Rights Festival Zurich and contributed to the project by inviting artist Ashfika Rahman to exhibit her work at Zollhaus throughout the festival.

On Tuesday the 9 of April, Ashfika Rahman will hold an artist talk moderated by Lea Hofer at Foodcluster Zollhaus. The discussion will focus on exploring the insights of artist Ashfika Rahman's alternative visual archive of suppression within minority or marginalized communities in her homeland, Bangladesh.

The project is presented with courtesy of VITRINE Art Gallery and it was commissioned by Samdani Art Foundation for the Dhaka Art Summit 2018. The talk is made possible thanks to the support of the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.

The event will be held in English and German.
