Event organised in occasion of the exhibition Fintopia.
By the Book Club of Plurale Ökonomik Zürich. Anthropologist David Graeber’s book offers a thorough look at the history of human economic relationships. It argues that our modern economy, with its tendency for inhumane hierarchies and harm to the environment, is not an unavoidable consequence of human nature. In this workshop, we will discuss key conclusions of the book, focusing on examples from history that illustrate how societies of the past can help us solve problems of the present.
Speakers: Krzysztof Cybulski, Mario Stepanik.
The event is free of charge and the conversation will be held in English.
No registration is needed.
