River Landscapes Interdisciplinary Discussion I 9 June 2024

The project “River Landscapes” tackles the capitalistic language used to describe rivers by creating a new, decolonised glossary that grasps them as more-than-human water landscapes.

With participants of the "River Landscapes" project; Ashfika Rahman, artist from Bangladesh, and initiator of River Heritage Project, Margarida Mendes, Researcher, Curator, Writer, Educator and member of Natural Contract Lab, and Bernd Scherer, Philosopher, Writer and fellow at Max Planck Institute for Geoanthropology, moderated by Martina Huber, Founder WE ARE AIA.

The discussion will be live-streamed and be available on our website, as well as the website of Zurich Art Weekend.
