Herbal medicine has a long history in Switzerland – from early times through
monastic herb gardens to modern phytotherapy. Knowledge about medicinal
plants has been shaped by different cultures, new discoveries, and legal
frameworks. Today, there are many ways to use plants for health in Switzerland.
This exhibition in the Glass Building and Garden invites you to explore
this diversity as cultural heritage, a living practice, a field of research, and a
source of artistic inspiration.
