11:00 Stadtrundgang: Offshore Tour Operator - RYBN.org
Mit Offshore Tour Operator (2017 / 2022) nimmt uns das extradisziplinäre Künstlerkollektiv RYBN.ORG mit auf eine Tour zu den physischen Spuren des Offshore-Bankings in der Stadt Zürich. Die Touren lassen die Teilnehmenden auf die Suche nach Briefkastenfirmen, Treuhandgesellschaften, Immobilienagenturen und Schattenfinanzierungsbüros und -agenten gehen, die in der Architektur verschiedener Zürcher Quartiere versteckt sind. Diese GPS-gesteuerte psychogeografische Tour wurde speziell für die Ausstellung entwickelt. RYBN.ORG extrahiert die Daten aus den 800.000 Adressen der Offshore-Leaks-Datenbank des International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. Die Arbeit bietet einen Einstiegspunkt und einen Filter in einer ansonsten überwältigenden Fülle von Wirtschaftsdaten.

11:00 City walk: Offshore Tour Operator - RYBN.org
With Offshore Tour Operator (2017 / 2022) the extradisciplinary artist collective RYBN.ORG takes us on a tour of the physical traces of offshore banking within the city of Zurich. The tours let the participants hunt for shell companies, trust firms, and housing agencies and shadow finance offices and agents tucked away within the architecture of various Zürich neighborhoods. This GPS-driven psychogeographical tour was specifically designed for the exhibition. RYBN.ORG extracts the data from the 800,000 addresses of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists’ Offshore Leaks database. The work offers an entry point and filter into what would otherwise be an overwhelming trove of economic data.
